CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

FACTORS WE CONSIDER WHILE RECOMMENDING PORTFOLIO DIVERSIFICATION

At MLC, one of our core values includes ‘results’. We make sure that our clients have the best possible diversified portfolio, tailored to their specific goals, etc. Below are the factors we consider before recommending specific types of portfolio.

Financial Situation

The financial situation of clients and partners vary. At MLC, we take into consideration our clients experiences in investing. Research has shown that this has been one of the major factors that affects the psychology of investors. We provide clients and partners with the necessary information to aid them understand the dynamics of the market, but we also do not trivialize the financial situation of clients. The endgame is that you make sustainable profit without any trace of financial pressure. We understand that financial stability equals (=) financial abundance + time + comfort/control over your lives.

GOALS

We observed that the reason majority of investors make unwise investment decisions is broadly because of one or both of these reasons:

  • Not having a personal goal in life generally
  • Consistently moving their financial goal threshold

It’s important to note that although MLC has a goal of making our clients and partners financially free, we aim to take the most reliable part to that, to the end that clients are not disappointed.

AGE

Research has shown that the age of clients or their investing experience (in years) has a major bearing on majority of their financial decisions and mishaps. Generally speaking, we advise and try to help older clients to diversify their portfolio in ways that are less risky than younger clients. Generally speaking, as clients are approaching retirement, we steadily reduce their leverage in investing. It is important for the general public to know that the age-factor does not make us leverage/invest irresponsibly for the younger clients. It’s our ‘corporate responsibility’ to ensure success remember?

RISK APPETITE

Different clients come with different risk appetites. We try to understand this before recommending investment diversification options for partners and clients. In spite of this, we still try to recommend better options for clients.  This is the amount of volatility an investor is willing to accept.
